…four  artists …brought together by a twist of kismet to present a visual  tapestry for you to enjoy.  First Friday!  Come meet the artists and the neighbors and enjoy an evening at Broadway Studios, 1127 N. Broadway - beverages and hors’ d’oeuvres - opens at 5 pm.

Artist quotes:

Jessica Gregory:  “I  draw from trees, water, and found natural elements, building layered  acrylic and mixed-media surfaces through glazes that reflect  observation, movement, and time.”

Christian Lange:  “Elephants  like to draw elephants. The human form is my photographic muse. I like  shooting in the studio, water or a desert because a minimalist setting  lets me focus entirely on the human shape and its movement.

Diane Corey: Being  learning disabled, expressing myself visually was salvation. The  natural world manipulated in paints or leather allowes me to live the  life I desire.”

Susie Feinberg: “I  accidentally began my art career when the class I wanted to audit was  full. The "twist of Kismet" led me to Rubens Ghenov's drawing 1 class,  where I began to see line and shadow differently. I continue to love  bringing lines to life, "collecting images and memories I want to  preserve, and arranging found objects that excite me. “
